SIGMAGEN generating sets (from 10KVA up to 3.000KVA), are entirely manufactured in Greece by the company S AIVAZIDIS SA according to the European norms, precisely following predetermined production processes as analytically described in the Quality Assurance Manual in conformity with ISO9001 Standard, thus obtaining stable and high manufacturing quality of the end product. The generating sets of our company are used to provide permanent or stand-by electric power in public buildings, hotels, hospitals, theaters, cinemas, ships, factories, schools, etc.

Each generating set before its delivery is being subject to successful tests through different phases of production, up to the final phase that leads to the end product. They are accompanied with respective inspection and testing certificates, statement of conformity with the European standards (and relevant CE mark), Quality Assurance certificates in conformity with ISO9001 Standard, company’s statement demonstrating capability of providing ten years technical support and supply of spare parts, operating and maintenance instructions’ manual, electric drawings and other supportive technical manuals.

SIGMAGEN generating sets are of a solid state construction, with a single metal base frame, constituting an independent unit. S. AIVAZIDIS S.A. company is using several famous diesel engine's brands, such as: Steyr tech, Ricardo, Deutz MHM, Weichai, Perkins, Cummins, ADF, Daewoo, Yangdong, Volvo, MTU, Iveco and alternators: Mecc alte, Stamfort, Leroy somer, Marelli, Marathon, Godlike or Syncro. Each generator consists of the following parts:

(a) Diesel drive unit.

(b) Alternator.

(c) Common base frame with built-in fuel tank.

(d) Control and protection electric panel.

(e) Soundproof canopy, suitable for outstanding installation (optional equipment).

Our company manufactures generating sets in different versions, such as: 1.500rpm or 3.000rpm, open or soundproof, land or marine use, on a trailer or stationary, with manual control panel (MCP) or automatic (ACP), with built in or separate change over conductors (LTS), with electronic module for paralleling and synchronizing between two generating sets or between generating set with main, remote control through SCADA system etc.

One of the most important advantages of our company is the fact that all our generating sets can be manufactured in accordance with the personalized operational or design requirements of each customer (custom made), since products requests are being produced in S.AIVAZIDIS S.A. premises, including initial production phase. Therefore, customized requests might include one or a combination of the following: greater capacity built-in fuel tank, higher soundproof capability (compared to the basic soundproof version), smaller base-frame or canopy dimensions (in case there is limited space problem), option for greater power diesel engine than the normal one (so as to increase the safety factor in case there are contemporary loads of the consuming) etc.
